Basic Package:  The fee of $350 is submitted with the signed Family History Project Agreement and includes:

Additional Research Hours:  I can not guarantee how much information will be found in the 10 hour research project.  Some families are more difficult to track and locate than others.  This is why "brick walls" are occasionally hit, and they can require additional research hours and effort to be able to push further back.  For example, if I am only able to go back 4 generations, and you would like to go back 6 generations, you may want to purchase more research time to try to locate those additional 2 generations.  Additional research hours are payable in advance at $60/half hour and $100/hour.

Day Trips:  It is important to note that if the scope of your project requires a day trip, the basic fee does not cover this service, therefore the trip will require written authorization by you.  Day trips are limited to travel up to 2 hours in one direction.  Day trips are billed at $100/hour for research time plus costs (see Costs below).  Day trips require a retainer fee of $300 with the balance payable within 10 days of the trip.   On-site research is available in the Florida Counties of Volusia, Flagler, Lake, Seminole, Brevard, Orange, St. Johns, Duval, Osceola, Polk and Marion.

Extended Research Trips:  Travel packages are available for $500/day (excluding travel days) – half the fee is paid in advance with an incidental expense fund of $150 (see Costs below).  The balance of the fee, along with any costs that exceed the expense fund, are paid upon return.  Mileage expense, if required, is documented and all expense receipts are provided.  Airfare, car rental and hotel must be paid in advance directly with service provider.  Included in the daily rate are: Unlimited research hours, meals, phone calls, emails, faxes, photocopies and a CD of digital photos.

Costs:  There are costs associated with the genealogical research process.  You will be responsible for all expenses.  These costs can include, but may not be limited to mileage, air fare, hotel charges, car rental, parking, tolls, admission fees, certificate and document fees. Any of these additional expenses are pre-approved by you before proceeding.

The Basic Package price and payment agreement applies to the initial Family History Report.  Additional copies for each family member are priced according to the size of the report and the number of books needed plus S&H, and must be paid in advance before publishing.  A consultation fee of $150 is payable in advance if you would like me to work with your Reunion Coordinator throughout the reunion planning process.

Surname Catalogues are compiled at a fee of $100 each, and include the additional archive copies.  This fee plus S&H are payable in full and must be included with the submission of the family collection.  A Family History Project Agreement is not required for this service.
