I am Eileen Taft, a genealogist with more than 30 years of research experience. I live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and I would be thrilled to help you find your family's ancestors and history. New Smyrna Beach is located in Volusia County. It is about 20 miles south of Daytona Beach and about 60 miles northeast of Orlando. I have done research throughout Florida and Georgia, and have specialized in Italian, German and Jewish genealogy. No matter where your family tree leads me, I can do the research to provide you with a documented family history. Sometimes, I am even able to connect family members with each other. What an amazing experience!

My Purpose:
The Universe has a heart beat. I know because I have experienced it. I have felt it, and I have heard it. The Universal heart beat vibrates through everything as the energy of Life.
My purpose is to assist people in reconnecting with the Life energy that flows through them. The tool I use is genealogy.
As Thich Nhat Hanh says, "Look deeply into the palm of your hand. You will see your parents and all generations of your ancestors, and all of them are alive in this moment. Each is present in your body. You are the continuation of each of these people."
As human beings, we have an inherent urge, a drive, to know from where we have come. The human part of us satisfies this drive by reconnecting with the generations of our family. The being part of us satisfies this drive through this reconnection as well. The form (family) leads us to the formless (the Universal heart beat).
