Fees
The basic fee of $350 is submitted with the signed
Family
History Project Agreement and includes:

Initial interview
•
Up to 10 hours of research time
•
Follow-up emails and phone calls
Additional research hours are payable in advance
at $40/hour.
It is important to note that if the scope of
your project requires a day trip, the basic fee does not cover
this service, therefore the trip will require written
authorization by you. Day trips are limited to travel up to 3
hours in one direction. Day trips are billed at $40/hr for
research time plus costs. Day trips require a retainer fee of
$150 with balance payable within 10 days of the trip.
Onsite research available in the Counties of Volusia,
Flagler, Lake, Seminole, Brevard, Orange, St. Johns, Duval,
Osceola, Polk, and Marion.
Travel packages are available for $275/day
(excluding travel days) – half the fee is paid in advance with a
$150 incidental expense fund (see Costs section below) and the
balance with documented mileage, if required, is paid upon return.
Airfare, car rental and hotel must be paid in advance directly
with service provider. Included in the daily rate are:
Unlimited research hours, meals, phone calls, emails, faxes,
photocopies and a
CD of digital photos.
Costs:
There are costs associated with the genealogical research
process. You will be responsible for all expenses. These costs
can include, but may not be limited to mileage, air fare, hotel
charges, car rental, parking, tolls, admission fees, certificate
and document fees.
